Neither Ohio nor Kentucky requires a state license for general handyman and home-repair work, but specialized trades — electrical, plumbing and HVAC — must be done by licensed professionals, and many structural changes need a local permit. We bring in licensed trades and pull the proper permits whenever a job legally requires it.
