From handyman and home repairs to complete home renovations

Our promise

Our 1-Year Labor Warranty

If our workmanship fails within twelve months of the job, we come back and put it right. No charge for the labor, no argument, no fine print designed to get us out of it.

What the warranty covers

For one year from the date of your invoice, Fix It-Cincy warrants the labor on the work we performed. If something we installed, repaired, mounted, patched or built fails because of how we did the work, call us. We return and correct it at no labor cost to you.

This covers the craftsmanship on every service we offer, from a mounted TV that works loose to a drywall patch that cracks at the seam to a deck board that was fastened wrong.

What it does not cover

We would rather tell you plainly up front than surprise you later. The labor warranty does not cover:

  • Manufacturer defects in parts or materials. Those carry their own manufacturer warranty, and we will help you claim it.
  • Materials you supplied. We will install what you buy, but we cannot warrant how it holds up.
  • Normal wear, weather and age. Stain fades, caulk shrinks, wood moves. That is maintenance, not a failure of our work.
  • Damage from misuse, accident, pets, or someone else working on it after us.
  • Pre-existing conditions we flagged before starting. If we told you the subfloor was soft or the pipe was galvanized and you asked us to proceed anyway, that is outside the warranty.
  • Work we advised against and performed at your direction anyway.

How to make a claim

Call or text (513) 202-3349, or send us a message through the contact form. Tell us what the job was and roughly when we did it. A photo helps but is not required.

We will schedule a return visit, usually within a few business days. You do not need to find your invoice. We keep records of every job.

Why we put this in writing

Plenty of handymen say satisfaction guaranteed. That is a feeling, not a commitment, and it costs nothing to promise. A dated labor warranty is a commitment, and it is the same one the national franchises make.

Kevin has spent forty years doing this work. The warranty is not a marketing device. It is what happens anyway when the person who did the job is the person who answers the phone.

No. We keep records of every job, so you do not need to dig out paperwork to claim on the warranty.

No. We will happily install what you buy, but we cannot warrant how someone else’s materials hold up. The labor is still covered — if the installation itself fails, we put it right.

No. Satisfaction guaranteed is a feeling, and it costs nothing to promise. A one-year labor warranty is a commitment with a start date, a scope and a written list of exclusions, which is why we put it in writing.
